# Testing WhatsApp broadcasts

> - The broadcasting feature is available in Advanced and Enterprise plans or an active 14-day trial.
> 
> Limitations:
> 
> - Most broadcast features are disabled in test mode.
> - A test broadcast can only be launched once.

Broadcasting test mode is a preview tool that lets you see how broadcasts function before sending them to leads. It connects via QR code and there's no need to set up a WhatsApp Business integration.

With this feature, you can send yourself a sample broadcast in WhatsApp to understand the flow, check how messages look on the client side, and get a clear idea of the value broadcasts can bring to your communication.

### Use cases

Here are a few ways this feature can help you:

- **Evaluate before sending**: See exactly how broadcasting works.
- **Preview message delivery**: Check how your client will view the message in WhatsApp.
- **Understand the flow**: Experience the step-by-step process of building and sending a broadcast.
- **Explore limitations:** Understand which features are available in broadcasting.

## How to start testing?

> **Note:** The first time you open the Broadcasting page after signing up for Kommo, the setup modal will appear automatically – no need to click **Get started**.
3. Scan the QR code with a Camera app on your device. A **WhatsApp** chat will open with a pre-filled message – send the message without editing. This establishes a connection with your WhatsApp account.

> **Note:** The connection is valid for 24 hours. If it expires before you send the test broadcast, click **Get started** to reconnect and complete the process.

> **Note:** Not all broadcasting features will be available for you to use while sending the test broadcast.

There you can see how the broadcast appears in Kommo. To view it from your client’s perspective, go to your WhatsApp app.
