# Testing the WhatsApp Business integration

> - The same QR code can’t be reused from a different device.

## What is TestBot?

TestBot lets you try Kommo’s WhatsApp Business integration without using your personal number. It uses a demo number and a preconfigured Salesbot to simulate real conversations. This allows you to experience the integration before fully connecting your own WhatsApp Business account.

### Why use TestBot?

With TestBot, you can:

1. Explore [WhatsApp Business features](https://www.kommo.com/blog/whatsapp-automation/) before connecting your own number.
2. Test 8 built-in message templates (List messages, Flows, Carousels, etc.).

3. Send messages from Kommo and reply in WhatsApp to try both agent and lead roles.

## How to start testing?

1. Go to the left menu → **WhatsApp** → Click Test **WhatsApp**.

2. **Scan the QR code** or click **open WhatsApp Web****.**

3. A chat opens with a message ready — **just send it.**

4. TestBot launches and a **test lead card** appears in Kommo.

5. Reply to the message directly from the lead card.

> **Note**: You can send the same template more than once. If TestBot stops, click the ⚡️ lightning icon in the lead card to restart the bot and continue testing:

## After testing

When you're ready to connect your real number:

- Go to the left menu → **WhatsApp** → Click **Connect**.
