# Create a Kommo webform

> [!NOTE]
> **What you’ll need**
>
> - A Kommo account on any plan or an active 14-day trial.
> - Administrator access in Kommo to configure the pipeline and webform.
> - A Kommo workspace with a pipeline and a destination stage for webform submissions.
> - Access to your website editor if you plan to embed the form with HTML.
>
> **Keep in mind**
>
> - A Kommo webform is a native lead source. It does not require an external account or authorization.
> - Submitted information is added to the lead, contact, or company fields included in the form.

This guide explains how to create and connect a Kommo webform to a pipeline. Once it is set up, each submission creates a lead in Kommo and adds the submitted information to the corresponding fields.

## Before you start

Before creating the webform:

- Choose the pipeline and stage where submitted leads should appear.
- Decide which lead, contact, or company information the form should collect.
- Make sure you can edit your website if you plan to embed the form instead of sharing its public link.

## Set up a Kommo webform

1. Open the automation settings for the pipeline where you want to receive leads. Go to **Pipelines**, select the pipeline, and click **Automate**. ![Pipeline automation settings with the Automate button selected.](https://cdn.document360.io/56933ead-06fc-4574-95de-8fa458a5db1d/Images/Documentation/webforms-1-1-en.png)
2. In **Lead sources**, click **Add source**. ![Add source button in the Lead sources section.](https://cdn.document360.io/56933ead-06fc-4574-95de-8fa458a5db1d/Images/Documentation/manage-webforms-2-2-en.png)
3. Select **Kommo webform**. ![Kommo webform option in the lead source menu.](https://cdn.document360.io/56933ead-06fc-4574-95de-8fa458a5db1d/Images/Documentation/manage-webforms-2-3-en.png)

5. On the **Edit fields** tab, add the fields you want visitors to complete. You can use fields from the **Leads**, **Contacts**, **Companies**, and **Additional** sections. ![Edit fields tab with lead, contact, company, and additional fields available.](https://cdn.document360.io/56933ead-06fc-4574-95de-8fa458a5db1d/Images/Documentation/image(286).png)
6. Open **Form settings** and complete the required setup:

7. Open **Form placement** and choose how to make the form available:
  - Copy the form link to share the Kommo-hosted page.
  - Copy the HTML code to embed the form on your website. Learn more about how to do that, read [our article.](/resources/docs/add-a-kommo-webform-to-your-website)

8. Click **Save**.![Save button in the Kommo webform builder.](https://cdn.document360.io/56933ead-06fc-4574-95de-8fa458a5db1d/Images/Documentation/image(287).png)

## Confirm the webform connection

Open the form using its public link or the page where you embedded it, then submit a test response. Return to the selected pipeline and confirm that a new lead appears in the destination stage. Open the lead and check that the submitted information was added to the corresponding lead, contact, or company fields.

Now that the webform is connected, you can place it on the required website pages and adjust its design or tracking settings when needed.
