# Kommo add-ons overview

> - Add-ons extend specific limits or usage. They do not change your Kommo plan or unlock other plan features.

## Use cases

- **Keep AI features available during busy periods** — Add more AI credits when your team needs higher AI usage before the next renewal period.
- **Scale AI usage across your workspace** — Increase the shared AI credit balance used by supported AI features as more teammates rely on AI in daily work.
- **Support high-volume custom messaging** — Purchase more Chats API messages when custom apps, AI assistants, or external integrations need to send more outgoing messages.
- **Grow integrations without changing plans** — Increase a specific usage limit while keeping your current subscription plan and included features.
- **Plan for predictable peaks** — Add capacity for campaigns, seasonal demand, or automation-heavy periods when included limits may not be enough.

## Available add-ons in Kommo

Kommo currently offers two add-ons:

- Increase [AI credit packages](/docs/add-ons-overview#ai-credit-packages) to expand the shared AI credit balance available for supported AI features.
- Add [Chats API message packages](/docs/add-ons-overview#chats-api-message-packages) to send more outgoing messages through Chats API.

### Increase AI credits

AI credit packages add credits on top of the monthly AI credits already included in your subscription plan. The extra credits are shared across the workspace and can support higher usage of AI features that use the common AI credit balance. AI credit packages are useful when your account needs more AI capacity without changing plans.

### Add Chats API messages

Chats API message packages increase how many outgoing messages your account can send through Chats API. They are designed for businesses that connect Kommo with custom apps, AI assistants, or external tools and need more messaging capacity.
